Flavor Oils for Lip Balms, Lipsticks, Glosses, and Massage Oils

Flavor oils are lip-safe fragrance oils that are accepted for use in lip care products. They offer a delectable aroma to lip balms, glosses and other lip care products.

Contrariety to the name, flavor oils does not possess any real flavor or taste.

However, some commercial products that appear to have a taste use a sweetener (normally aspartame or other sugar substitutes).

The sweetener deceives your brain into thinking you taste the flavor when you actually smell it.

The addition of a sweetener can greatly improve the “flavor”, but this will make the user lick their lips.

Flavor oils are scented addition to oil soluble products such as lip balms, body butter, lipsticks, & edible massage oils.

Regardless of their name, flavor oils do not offer any real flavor; they are highly concentrated food grade fragrance oils.

Choosing a good flavor is pretty important. A great one can take your creation to a whole new level.

On the other hand, a bad flavoring can bring down a great lip balm recipe.

Flavor oils can be blended to create luscious and unique combinations. The possibilities are endless!
