How to Exfoliate the Skin Using African Sponge and Black Soap

African Sponge is a pure mastermind. It exfoliates lathers and dries nicely.

This exfoliating African body sponge has been a staple in African homes for years simply because it’s practical, hygienic, save money- can last up to a year!

It is great for everyday use on all skin type including sensitive skin! Simply rinse after use and hang to air dry.

This exfoliating sponge is used all over West Africa and each country has a name for it. It is called Jampus, Fouo, Sapo, Akoussa or net, and you can multipurpose with it.

In addition to using it to bath the body, you can also wash dishes and clean your home with it.

Above all, it measures about 50 cm to 1 meter, dry quicker and allows to successfully cleaning of all areas of the body including the tiniest reachable: the back!

How to Use African Sponge

  • Firstly, dampen the sponge and lather with your African Black soap at the same time before rubbing on your body.
  • Secondly, after bathing, rinse after use and hang to air dry
  • Use daily on oily skin or 3 times per week on normal to dry skin.

Please Note:

Before using for the first time, heat in boiling water to soften the texture.

Benefits of African Sponge

  • Firstly, it increases the foam and lessens the amount of soap and water desired for a shower.
  • Secondly, it dries out faster than the washcloth or shower flower or and stops the accumulation of germs.
  • Thirdly, it has a long duration of use. Saves money and can last up to a year

  • Fifthly, it makes blood circulation better.
  • Then, it exfoliates and fortifies the efficacy of your cream or balm after the bath all cheers to better absorption by the skin.
  • Combats against ingrown hairs and very easy to clean in the machine at 30 °C.

Lastly, it is very portable and light
