How to Make Mango Margarita
There are two ways to enjoy a margarita: Blended or on the rocks. The base of the mix is mango chunks.
In Nigeria, I like starting with fresh mango instead of frozen because mango is seasonal. I consume it more when it is in season.

It means over ice. This is a great option if you don’t have a blender.
Mango Margarita Recipe- On the Rocks
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces tequila
- ½ ounce triple sec (or orange liquor of choice)
- Juice of half a lime
- ½ cup of mango juice
- 1 cups ice
- Margarita Salt
How to Make
- Firstly, place cups in the freezer to frost them
- Then, mix the drink using the liquors and juice
- After that, remove the cups from the freezer and using some lime juice get the rim wet and then dip into the margarita salt
- Lastly, scoop the ice into the cup, and then pour the drink. Garnish with lime or other fruit as desired.
Frozen Mango Margarita Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup frozen mango (or fresh mango)
- 1½ ounces tequila
- ½ ounce triple sec (or other orange liqueur)
- 2 tablespoons agave
- ½ juice of a lime
How to Make
- Firstly, add the ice and frozen mango to the blender.
- Also, add in the tequila, triple sec, agave and lime juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- After that, Use a lime wedge to go around the rim of the cups, dip into margarita salt or sugar.
- Finally, pour the drink, garnish with a lime wedge if desired and enjoy!
